As doulas we take on families individually, working as each others back-ups. Occasionally we offer the option of shared care whereby two of us take on a family between us, doing the antenatal meets together with one of us attending the birth. This option is generally used if the doula you wish to book doesn't have full availability to take you on alone and still offers you the continuity of care we all believe to be so important.
